Here we go!!!
We decided that our first day of school, for our first actual year of Homeschool, would be August 1, 2016. Our first couple of weeks are really going to be spent figuring things out, and getting our schedule in place.
So, here it is. I am Mama Bear, and I will be homeschooling my 5-year-old, kindergartener, Little Miss Muffet, and 3-year-old pre-preschooler, Little Jack Horner!
Little Miss Muffet started at a wonderful Christian Preschool, in our community, 2 years ago, and we loved it. It was our every intention to start Little Jack Horner there this year, for the next 2 years, but he had other ideas! So, we will be spending this year getting ready for that to begin next school year!
We have decided to use the following curriculum, for both kids, and let Little Jack Horner come along with us at his own pace!
*Bible ABC's
*Kinderstart
*Kindergarten Morning Work
*Preschool & Kimdergarten Handwriting Without Tears (and Keyboarding without tears for Little Miss Muffet)
*Math Made Easy
*Before Five in a Row & Five in a Row, Vol. 1
We also pulled out our really old PC, strictly for the kids' use this year. I've got it set up for them to explore:
*ABC Mouse
*Moby Max
*Teach your Monster to Read
*Keys without Tears
And, really anything else that we want to squeeze in! It's a lot, and we really won't do everything every day, but we are going along those lines!
We also have a Community Homeschool Co-op that we will be participating in, once a week!
